This blog is simply a way for me to share my life’s stories with you and hopefully spread some joy and knowledge along the way. With three children ages 4 and under, our lives are full of it all: hilarity, frustration, love, patience, impatience, and everything in between. I am not a perfect mother, wife, sister, or daughter, but by golly, I’m doing my best….most of the time. Along the way, if given the time, I also love to create. I don’t have a specific medium I use. I use everything! Food, popsicle sticks, glue, paints, words, whatever! The world is full of beauty, and so are the people who possess it. I will share what I accomplish with you and give you any tips I have discovered along the way.
Let me introduce you to my crew!
Heather – That’s me!
Joe – The husband
Joe is my rock and has to be one of the greatest men I know. He has many accomplishments in life already including two tours of duty overseas (yes, he’s a soldier…swoon…),becoming an apache pilot, and a financial advisor at Edward Jones. He’s talented, funny, handsome, and an excellent father and husband. He’s simply amazing.
Alisynne – First born
Alisynne is my oldest at 4 years old. She has a sensitive soul and hates for anyone to be angry or upset. If she finds you at fault for hurting anyone’s feelings she will immediately rectify the situation and make you aware of your part in the discord. It actually makes for some pretty funny conversations between myself and her. She is smart and focused on any task I give her.
Emma and Ethan – The twins
Emma and Ethan are now 2 1/2 years old. They are hilarious, tenacious, assertive, sweet, and a hand full. Emma loves to draw, color, and paint. It doesn’t matter the surface, if it’s within reach, it’s getting a new splash of color. She’s smart and highly coordinated for a 2 year old. She can keep up with most of the older kids on the playground. She’s kind of impressive.
Ethan is my teddy bear. My very loud teddy bear. He has one volume, Max. He has the most joyous heart of any other human being I have come in contact with. It doesn’t take much to send him into full volumed exuberant exclamations. You give him a simple ball and you’d think you’d handed over the keys to world! He’s a builder/destroyer. He loves to tear down the blocks/buildings more than erect them.
It is my goal to make this blog family friendly, safe, and delightful. I love talking to you, exchanging ideas, and accepting new tips and tricks! Please feel free to contact me and let me know what you think, but please keep it in a positive manner. I will delete any rude, crude, or antagonistic comments. My blog is not affiliated with anyone, so any opinions or suggestions I offer are all mine. I receive no compensation for them.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope you’ll come back soon and often!
